The spanish company Innovation Consulting redesigned the newspaper Diário de S. Paulo. I was asked to provide consulting as creative director for the implementation process of the new design. During 6 months, I've managed the art and photo teams, leading them in the transition to the new graphics and evaluating their performance along the process.

Besides that, I had to design the first page. There was no fixed font sizes to follow, once the template was very flexible. The only rule was to keep around 70% the ratio of area for the main headline and corresponding image, resulting in a magazine-like artwork. I usually had around four hours of production, from briefing to sending the file to the press. Here are some of the results. At the end of my consultancy, they became a visual reference that should be followed by the art team.
