Illustration for the magazine of Journalism of ESPM, a faculty from São Paulo, commissioned by the art director Eliane Stephan. The article was innovation and disruptive behavior, and the briefing was very straightforward: create a typographic illustration with the word RUPTURA (DISRUPTION in Portuguese), across  two pages. The columnist was bringing the idea of how sometimes we need to get to the bottom in order to achieve success. I've decided to materialize that concept as a staircase that would go down and up. Thus, in order to overcome the problems, you would need to take the action of flipping the page. I've started with a lettering filled with textures and shadows, but they would be dropped later in flavor to a more minimalist illustration, which would be more suitable for the publication.
