Brazilian football teams do not have the culture produce a matchday programme. From 2003 to 2005, São Paulo FC decided to produce one for their home games at estádio Morumbi, and I was responsible for the design project, art direction and production. It consisted in a A5 size booklet, with 8 pages. The content covered a range of topics related to the following game, such as analysis and statistics, the last time both team have met and interviews with players and coach regarding the next opponent. The journal included a collectible card that could be extracted from the booklet. Two collection of seasonal of cards were produced: one about football rules and passion, and the second about players from the current first team. The production time was always the main challenge, once I had about 6 hours from first sketches to sending to the press.
