Sometimes it is not easy to please a client. What about when the client is yourself and you need to create a piece for one of the most important moments of your life? The approach to design this marriage invitation was to get inspiration from the venue: a beach house. The invitation was printed on letterpress by my friend Marcos Mello, owner of the print shop Letterpress Brasil. The name tags were printed on my own laser printer, and the fishes beneath it are the ones found close to the location, in a beach called Sepultura (Grave). The envelope was made of translucent blue canson paper, so combined to the name tags they would make a small pool for the fishes. The souvenir was made of a candle and a thank you note. Pictograms of a crab were placed one by one at the cup.
